Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions must be met throughout the project for optimum results. Below are details of our expectations from our clients. These will need to be provided in a timely manner in order to avoid any delays in the project.

  1. General
    • Bigdot’s core business is the design and construction of exhibition stands.
    • Proposals are only done for clients who have confirmed their participation in events.
    • The sch edule of milestones will need to be approved before commencing the design. This will include important deadlines for different stages of the project.
  2. Design
    • Bigdot only provides the client with one design option per brief.
    • Design revisions are limited to 2, additional revisions will be charged at the rate of Dhs. 650/hour.
    • The design process will start after receiving complete details of the brief, including the client’s budget, as well as the client’s positive confirmation of the presentation date.
    • As well as the complete brief, the exhibition floor plan, a set of the show rules and regulations, the company’s branding guidelines and supporting promotional material are required before starting work on the design.
    • All fields in the Creative Brief Form need to be filled with specifications such as quantities, dimensions and style preferences.
    • Bigdot offers suggestions for special features on the stand (including coordination with suppliers) provided we are set a reasonable budget for this service by the client (individually – exclusive of the stand design/construction budget).
    • Graphics shown in the 3D perspective are only samples. The client must provide ready-to-print files based on dimensions provided.
  3. Pricing
    • Quotations will only be submitted after the client approves the design.
    • Quotations are on a lump-sum basis. No breakdown is given to the client.
  4. Payment Terms
    • Once the costing is approved, bigdot requires a 50% advance payment, which will go towards the purchase of material for the project and general mobilization on the project. All projects are self-financing.
    • The balance payment must be cleared 3 working days before the build-up commences on site.
  5. Graphic
    • Bigdot does not offer graphic design/branding services.
    • All artwork submitted must be ready to print. Any resizing/refitting will be charged at the rate of Dhs. 400/hour.
    • In case bigdot takes on any resizing or graphic design responsibilities, all artwork must be signed off by the client before printing.
    • Bigdot is not responsible for any spelling/grammatical errors in the text submitted by the client.
    • Bigdot’s Graphic Department will check the resolution of the artwork submitted. If the resolution is not efficient, a written confirmation from the client is required before proceeding to print.
    • The client is given a deadline to submit all artwork ready to print. Should the client not comply with the deadline, bigdot is not responsible in case of failure to deliver the graphics.
    • In case of failure to deliver the artwork by the client, bigdot may assign random artwork. The client must be informed of this; however, approval is not necessary.
  6. Construction
    • A minimum of 15 days (prior to build-up) is required for the construction of any stand. Should there be an enquiry in less than 15 days from the event, extra charges could apply.
    • The client must approve the costing before construction commences.
    • Construction shall commence after receipt of the 50% advance payment.
    • The client may visit our workshop to view the stand installed before the build-up. However, there will be an extra charge for this.
